2011 Cuba Teen Camp Report

• Worked with Pastor Pancho and other leaders from the Eastern Baptist Convention of Cuba
• 130 teens + 30 leaders
• Took place August 1-4, 2011 at Camp Palmaron on the outskirts of Bayamo, Cuba
• The Press On Missions team consisted of 4 members: Rick J. Collins / Monica Beaty / Robert Clements / Jordan Toledo
• We had 3 color groups with 4 family group teams in each color group (12 total family groups)
• Aprrox. 40% of the camp were non-Christian youth
• 31 youth prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior
• Scholarships were provided for each of these youth to attend camp.
• We also trained leaders from the Baptist Convention in Guantanamo and provided scholarship funds for them to conduct a camp the following week. They were expecting 150 to be involved.
• Theme for the week: “Credible Witness”
