Cuba Camp August 2010Press On Missions took a team of 4 into Cuba the first of August, 2010 led by POM board President, Rick Collins. We were expecting 100 students and leaders... God brought us 185 students and 20 leaders! (33 of these students were non-believers.) It was a great 4 days of ministry as 13 students accepted Jesus as their Savior and many hearts were touched and stirred by God's truths. We were also able to train an additional 19 leaders from a community called Maisi. It is perhaps the poorest area in Cuba and our team was forbidden by Cuba law to even travel there. Because of this we invited their leadership to be with us the day before camp for pre-camp training and the first day of camp for "on the job training". They were planning to secure all our recreation supplies we left behind after camp and use it to conduct a camp in their community the following week. Their goal was to involve over 100 students who do not have an opportunity to travel or participate in anything like camp. Thank your continued prayers for what God is doing in the hearts and lives of students & ministry leaders in Cuba!
